The Family Connect Worker is a new initiative to The Junction Works in 2011. Under the ‘Stronger Together’ NSW State government funding initiative the option for all clients and families to receive Self-Managed Packages will be provided. The Connect Worker will be able to assist those families wishing to take this opportunity up.
The Family Connect Worker will also offer new families and clients a point of entry which will assist families through the initial transition period when entering a Day Program. It will also increase the understanding and knowledge of The Junction Works and how families could benefit from other services The Junction and external agencies can offer.
