Our History

Creating New Possibilities in People's Lives
The Junction Works has been providing services in South West Sydney since 1987 - originally from a caravan park in Leppington.

The Junction Works commenced as a small-scale project to provide support to young people in isolated communities on Liverpool's western fringe. A trip down Camden Valley Way today highlights the dramatic change our area has undergone since the 1980s, and highlights the changing needs of families within our service catchment.

Today, our expectations are higher than ever before. We believe that all people, regardless of disability or adversity, deserve to live a life that is rewarding, healthy and socially included.

Motivated by our Mission of "Creating New Possibilities in People's Lives", The Junction Works has grown to encompass a wide range of services including disability, youth, children's and community services, supported by a dynamic and rapidly expanding team of staff.

In February 2018, The Junction Works merged with Share Care Disability Services. Between us, we have over 60 years’ experience of providing quality services in South West Sydney. We believe that by coming together under a Parent Subsidiary Model we can deliver enhanced services to local families.

Together with Share Care we are now able to provide disability services from 18 sites across Bankstown, Fairfield, Liverpool, Campbelltown and Camden local government areas.

"Creating New Possibilities in People's Lives"
