TJW Coronavirus Bulletin 15 March 2020

The Junction Works’ current coronavirus protocol

15 Mar 2020

Coronavirus is spread by:

  1. An infected person passing it on to others close by via droplets spread by through saliva and coughing or sneezing.
  2. By a person touching contaminated hands or contaminated surfaces and objects.

The virus can remain active for a number of days on some surfaces. If a person touches a contaminated surface and then touches their face, they are at risk of being infected.

While many people appear to have few symptoms resulting from the virus, these people are capable of passing the virus on to people who are vulnerable.

That is why all of us need to be vigilant about preventing the spread of the virus.
