Junction All Stars set to celebrate International Day of People with Disability 19 Aug 2016 We are delighted to acknowledge Mounties Group for their recent sponsorship of the Junction All Stars upcoming performance. This community partnership will assist the performance troop to write, develop and perform a show at Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre, to be held on the 14th December 2016 in celebration of International Day of People with Disability. The Club Grant will provide an opportunity for 55 young men and women with a disability at The Junction Works to build self-confidence, enhance creative and social skills and work towards individual goals. We are fortunate to have Mounties Group and other community partners recognise and support the great potential of our performing arts project. “We are looking forward to hosting this special event on such an important day. International Day of People with Disability aims to make us more aware of how we can be more inclusive of people living with disability,” said CEO Chris Campbell. “The NDIS has come about in support of social inclusion and this is precisely what we are about at The Junction Works. Our concert is a significant opportunity for community integration, but more importantly, it’s a chance for our guys to communicate this message for themselves through their performance.” The Junction Works would like to thank Mounties Group for their generous grant to assist this project. Details of our December Junction All Stars performance will be released over the coming months. Please contact The Junction Works on 8777 0500 or via firstname.lastname@example.org for any queries.
