The Junction Works were pleased to host a successful Behaviour Support Symposium last week, in conjunction with Northcott, Cerebral Palsy Alliance and NSW Department of Family and Community Services.
The full-day event took place on November 10 at Dooley's Lidcombe, bringing together disability service providers, allied health professionals and other industry experts. The Symposium provided current information, strategies and best practices that seek to increase the quality of life for individuals living with a disability.
Attendees were pleased to have an open forum to communicate grey areas under the National Disability Insurance Scheme at the Symposium - namely the exchanging of new approaches and data on Restricted Practices and the Positive Behaviour Support Framework.
The Junction Works look forward to working alongside industry leaders for future opportunities in professional and industry development. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this great event.
