Our Service

The Junction Works’ Holsworthy OOSH and Vacation Care is a school aged care service that provides children with the opportunity to participate in leisure and play-based activities that are responsive to their needs, interests, and choices.

Our educators are committed to providing a quality, interesting program where children can enjoy structured and unstructured play and a wide range of varied activities that gives them the opportunity to explore, experiment and engage with each other.

 
Junction Works Holsworthy OOSH and Vacation Care

Before and After School Care

Providing Before School Care from 6:30am-9:00am and After School Care from 2:30pm-6:00pm for children aged 5-12 years of age.

Our service provides a welcoming and safe environment for children to engage in activities enhancing their self-help skills, cognitive, fine and gross motor skills through play based learning. Our Educators plan a developmentally appropriate program weekly based on children’s needs, interests and input, special events and feedback from families.

Our program of activities includes supporting children with their homework. Children have access to computers to assist with their homework and school projects.

Educators encourage children to engage in a healthy lifestyle. Our breakfast and afternoon teas are nutritious and developed in accordance with healthy eating guidelines. Cultural and spiritual needs are respected.

We encourage children and parents to be actively involved in the planning, implementation and evaluation of our program so that cultural diversity is reflected and respected across the children’s activities and experiences.

 

Vacation Care 

Providing Vacation Care from 6:30am-6:00pm.

Our service provides a welcoming and safe environment for children to engage in activities enhancing their self-help skills, cognitive, fine and gross motor skills through play based learning. Our Educators plan a developmentally appropriate Vacation Care program based on children’s needs, interests and input, special events and feedback from families. Activities include a variety of In Centre activities, Incursions and Excursions.

Educators encourage children to engage in a healthy lifestyle. Our breakfast and afternoon teas are nutritious and developed in accordance with healthy eating guidelines. Cultural and spiritual needs are respected.

We encourage children and parents to be actively involved in the planning, implementation and evaluation of our program so that cultural diversity is reflected and respected across the children’s activities and experiences.
