Behaviour Support

Behaviour Support Practitioners work closely with participants, their family and carers to understand the participant's behaviours of concern, and then develop different strategies to support the person with their behaviour.

Our Behaviour Support Practitioners use positive behaviour support techniques.

This involves using evidence-based strategies and person-centred supports that address the needs of the person with disability and the underlying causes of behaviours of concern, while safeguarding the dignity and quality of life of the person.

"Creating New Possibilities in People's Lives"

Our mission drives our determination to generate more opportunities for people with a disability, and to improve the lives of people experiencing hardship and disadvantage.
