At Wattle Grove, our team supports children and families by offering playgroups, parenting support, and education around child development.

Regular programs at the centre include the popular Mums and Bubs group, as well as the Tiny Tots Playgroup, both designed to nurture connection, learning and early childhood development.

Our Programs

Our Tiny Tots Playgroup has served the community of Wattle Grove for over 10 years and continues to remain popular and well sought after by new and returning families each and every year.

At Tiny Tots we continue to meet the community expectation’s and listen to our families advice and feedback on how to grow and improve Tiny Tots each and every year. We know playgroup is a great way for the child/ren to learn about the world, make friends and develop social skills. Playgroup also gives mums, dads, grandparents and caregivers a chance to share ideas and experiences. Many long-term friendships begin at Playgroup.

Our activities include weekly craft, story time, rhyme time, and parachute games, as well I keep each week themed such as Christmas, Halloween, messy play, and much more!

We book out each and every term and always incur a waitlist with families eager to secure a spot for their child/ren to attend our playgroup.

Mum’s & Bub’s is an 8-week social group designed for new mothers with babies aged 6 weeks to 1 year, living in the Liverpool area.

The group provides a welcoming space for mums to connect with other local families at a similar stage of life, while also gaining access to valuable information and resources relevant to parenting and early childhood.

Throughout the year, we partner with a variety of local businesses and services who regularly attend our sessions to support families—offering everything from infant and child-specific First Aid training, to expert talks from Karitane on sleep, settling and starting solids, as well as sessions with physiotherapists, Family Planning and more.

Our own team also facilitates engaging discussions on topics such as the transition to parenthood, self-care, developmental milestones and baby massage. Each session includes playtime for the little ones, with access to toys, books, musical instruments, sensory and messy play activities. We wrap up with a fun rhyme time where families can sing nursery rhymes, pop bubbles and unwind under the colourful parachute.
